I'm a born and raised South Dakotan in the Sioux Falls area. I've had many titles over the years, but my favorites are a mother, a daughter, a sister, and a photographer. I took up photography in late 2018, as a way to express my creativity outside my role as a financial crimes analyst. I started out doing many kinds of photography, from newborns, to weddings, to family sessions and boudoir. After being strictly a boudoir photographer for six years, I was truly missing those special moments of seeing families each year that trusted me for their updated family photos, and creative portrait sessions so I rebranded again in 2026 to now open up to offering portrait, boudoir, maternity, and event photography. When sessions take place, I want each client to not only feel at ease during the entire experience but to know that it's a safe space to not ever feel judged. I want your experience to be fun, but also know that I will listen without judgement, give you that "wow" factor as they say.
Before photography, I received my cosmetology license in late 2011. Although I no longer work in the cosmetology field -- I learned a lot about styling, colors and makeup which has helped with my photo sessions. I have hand-picked my cosmetologists for my sessions, because I know they provide quality work and remain professional.
